Middle of the week

Yesterday supper was chili  dogs with sort. Of sloppy joe sauce .....pear slices for dessert.potato chips..

Lunch was talapia,cornbread, rice,pinto beans,a brownie....

Sunday

Sunday evening meal....corn meal breaded chicken strips, sweet tater fries, raspberry sherbet ...lunch was ?  Breakfast was the usual grits eggs toast....

Grits...eggs...toast and jelly....cranberry juice , coffee....lunch...pork chop ...mashed potatoes....new carrots...really moist and tasty applesauce spice cake....

Missed a day or two somehow?

Last night they had supper one hour late...so today breakfast was an hour late too.....supper was taco soup...or chili ...and a baked potato ...tree were lots of desserts...I had peanut butter cake,and some really good pecan pie and then breakfast was sausage and eggs...and grits...cranberry juice and coffee...lunch : beef and mushroom in gravy over rice....steamed yellow squash...excellent large slice  yellow cake with sugar frosting..with a cup of coffeetowash down the dessert....sandwiches...the old folks lik them because they are easy to eat I guess...and they don't have to ask what they are eating...with a pickle spear...burnt sugar cake dessert...tea,coffee...

French toast

And grits...with butter and syrup....juice...coffee....good French toast....might snow late afternoon, early evening they are saying.....watched the Tampa game through to the end last night, then went to sleep after a while......lunch....meatloaf wih chili sauce...parsley mashed taters....peach cobbler, still warm ...the usual beverages....supper .....ham sandwiches , steamed beets, pickle slices crinkle cut....ambrosia dessert.....tea and coffee....before supper I had been sitting in the room eating parched peanuts.....also tropical trail mix, and tea and toast.....Lipton and raisin bread...there goes the train whistle again....looks like the
 cold front is up around Charlotte right now headed this way?  Lunch was apiece of ham....turnip greens, sweet tater soufflé, corn bread and a sweet cornbread cake presented with whipped cream....supper ...tuna salad sandwiches ....tomato bisque soup.....potato chips....incredible  sweet tater cake dessert .....with hard sauce for frosting....later I wandered the halls again pulling myself along the railings ....get lots of exercise that way....now watching a David Gilmour...concert on the DVD player....with my new very nice Sony headphones....they sound great ....plenty of bass, etc....

Breakfast was sausage, grits, eggs, cranberry juice, coffee.....lunch was meaty BBQ ribs, tater salad, mixed veggies, sweet tea /lemonade....fudge cake, coffee....Dan bought an OPERA harmonica at the junk store in Clinton....pretty cool double octave harp,....and he put the Rotosound  bronze strins on the new guitar, and we be jamming....evening meal.....hot and hearty bowl of soup,ham sandwiches, lemon custard dessert, the usual beverages....
