fried ham and french toast

for Sunday breakfast.....maybe these low clouds will burn off later and it will end up nice out like yesterday......now they are saying 50% chance of thunderstorms Thursday, my birthday.....but it should still be in the 70s......37 this morning early on, but stayed warm enough in the house overnight that the heater wasn't needed....had a couple of windows open during the day for a change and the house got some warm air in it.....plus running the oven a bit might have helped too.....made a mac-n-cheese ham bake.....small elbow mac, diced ham, diced onion, leftover cream style corn, a jar of Ragu Double Cheddar sauce, parmesan-romono and seasoned bread crumbs on top.....1/2 hr. at 350 to get it bubbly and a little crunchy 'round the edge.....leftovers from that for a couple more times looks like.....but Sunday supper can be french bread pizza and spinach salad, instead of leftovers I think....finished off my curried ham salad for Saturday lunch, but might make another batch of that....lunch today can just be another grilled ham and swiss on pumpernickel.....I read in the Greenville paper about a guy who had a hot-dog cart, but who has now opened Downtown Dogs I think it's called .....anyway, one thing the article mentioned was a Rueben dog.....homemade sauerkraut, swiss, thousand island....sounds good.....somebody came by late yesterday afternoon and mowed the vacant lot next door....looks nice....
